Hace poco estuve leyendo el libro “Cuándo erámos unos niños” de Patti Smith que me recomendó una buena amiga. Al terminar me quedé prendada de la história de ellos ( Patti Smith y Robert Mapplethorpe ). Hace unos días los chicos de Hypeyou anunciaron que llegaba a Barcelona en la galería Senda una selección de impresiones de gelatina de plata. Ayer me pasé a verla y os la recomiendo a todos, me fascina la manera qué tenía de expresarse. De mostrar su lado más oscuro a través de la pureza de los negros tan densos que se pueden apreciar, sobretodo, en las fotografías de naturaleza muerta. Una delicia al alcance de todos!

Just a while ago I read Patti Smith’s book “Just kids” that a good friend of mine recommended me. When I finished reading I fell in love with their love story ( Patti and Robert Mapplethorpe ). A few days ago Hypeyou announced a selection of gelatin silver prints was arriving to Senda Gallery in Barcelona.
Yesterday I went to watch it and I deeply recommend it, I’m aroused by the way he expressed his feelings, showing his darkest inner side through the purity of dense dark where you can appreciate specially in the dead nature photos. A delight for everyone!

Lo que más me gusta del verano es que las tardes se alargan hasta la infinidad. La semana pasada fui a ver a Angie. Pasamos la tarde entre cafés, cotilleos y su pequeña chinchilla que es adorable y al final nos liamos a cenar todos! No hay nada mejor que eso, verdad?

What I like about summer is the afternoons are super long. Last week I went to see Angie and spent the afternoon between coffee, gossip, their little chinchilla is adorable and we finally have dinner with our boyfriends! There is nothing better than that, right?

Este mes esta siendo super heavy por todo el trabajo que me esta llevando montarlo todo a tiempo para la exposición, aún con todo el apoyo del mundo una necesita airearse un poco. Así que, el otro día ojeando libros de foto volví a reencontrarme con este precioso libro. Que os voy a decir mi amor por Kate Moss y Mario Testino unidos en un libro maravilloso así que no me lo pensé y me lo lleve a casa.

This month is being super heavy for all the work that is taking me to prepare the exhibition, even with all the support of the world one needs a little break. So the last week I found this beautiful book again and this time had to be mine.

Y de estas bellezas que os voy a decir… Son de Jeffrey Campbell y se llaman Lydia. Vinieron a casa por un error con las tallas de una amiga, me los probé y me iban perfectos así que me los quedé. Espero estrenarlos el día de la inauguración y en una boda que tengo el día 1.
